Lubo Velkov
Lubo VELKOV was born in Sofia in 1953 and have graduated with an MFA in Industrial Design from the Academy in Fine Arts, Sofia. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Bulgaria, as well in the organizing of fairs such as the famous Industrial Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Lubo emigrated to the US in 1995 and had lived in Kalamazoo, MI and Chicago, IL. One of the founding members of “Bulgarian artists abroad” since 2007, he has taken part in most of their exhibitions in New York, Chicago, Sofia, Houston, etc. The artist has passed away in 2019.
